Here’s a fun way to practice the ideas and skills from the first 3 levels of the Mederos Workshop: “Building Bando Cortinas!” A cortina is a short piece of music that serves to separate sets of dance music in the milonga. These pieces serve as a contrast to the tango music, an energizer/animation for the milonga, and a chance for the musician to have a little fun. In this online workshop we’ll practice the skills needed to create quick and effective arrangements for cortinas that we can play along with in the workshop.
Sunday, May 1. 15:00 - 16:30 all levels welcome!
Cost: €10 - please contact Ruth on details how to pay and to receive login details.
