¡Tenemos el placer de ofrecer una serie de Talleres Online con uno de los más grandes Maestros vivos del Bandoneón! Toquemos Solo Bandoneón Nivel 3 consta de cuatro sesiones de 90 minutos. Después de una pausa de un par de meses entre cada curso, seguirán otros.

Todas las sesiones se grabarán y se pondrán a disposición de los participantes para que puedan verlas. Así pues, si estás interesado pero no puedes asistir a los talleres propiamente dichos, puedes inscribirte para recibir los enlaces de los vídeos.

Sobre este Taller -

Toquemos Solo Bandoneón explorará el tema de la interpretación musical.
En esta serie de clases abordaremos dos aspectos: la producción del sonido y el fraseo del lenguaje del tango.
Trabajando con los magistrales arreglos de Rodolfo Mederos, descubriremos la verdadera profundidad de la música del tango, a través del hermoso sonido del Bandoneón.
Una partitura bien escrita contiene todo lo que necesitas. Solo le falta un pequeño detalle: la musicalidad. Reproducir música no es solo repetir lo que está en la página. La misma partitura se podía tocar de muchas maneras diferentes sin cambiar ninguno de los elementos escritos.

Nada es posible cambiar si no se comprende, por ello es importante desarrollar dos aptitudes fundamentales: consciencia del sonido y sentido crítico. Para producir un determinado efecto es necesario tener su imagen sonora (consciencia del sonido), es decir, haberlo escuchado y además desear hacerlo; luego saber cómo producirlo.
Será a través del círculo virtuoso (oído percibe, cerebro ordena y dedos tocan) que podremos comparar, evaluar y accionar.
Estos talleres nos llevarán más allá de la mera reproducción de lo escrito, nos enseñarán a interpretarlo y a encontrar nuestra propia expresión.
La música es como una escultura: se puede observar y sentir desde varios costados; posibilita que una creación pueda generar el placer de escucharla una y mil veces.

La música no es buena porque tenga mucho, sino porque precisa poco. No se trata de saber qué poner, sino qué sacar.

Sobre mi pasión por la educación Me gusta devolver lo que otros me dieron, "vivir sin deudas". El contacto que he tenido con los músicos fundadores del género es sin duda un privilegio. Si acaso fui un eslabón de esta cadena, compartir estas experiencias me completa y me hace feliz. El futuro tiene sus cimientos en el pasado. Nos sumergiremos en el sonido histórico del tango, tanto para reproducirlo fielmente como para generar nueva música a partir de él.

¿CÓMO FUNCIONA ESTE CURSO?

• El curso se realiza en Zoom (online).

• Trabajaremos con dos temas (Niebla del Riachuelo y El Choclo) en arreglos del maestro Mederos.

• La inscripción al curso te dará acceso a su material y a los vídeos de las sesiones.

• En 4 sesiones de 90 minutos, estudiaremos en profundidad dos arreglos de Mederos que han sido creados especialmente para estas clases.

• Cada una de las 4 sesiones se divide en dos franjas de 40 minutos, durante las cuales un alumno recibirá las clases online mientras los demás observan y/o participan con el sonido silenciado.

• ¿Cómo se elige al alumno activo? 4 días antes del comienzo del taller, cada uno sube un audio o vídeo de sus progresos con la pieza elegida y especifica si prefiere ver y escuchar, o estar dispuesto a ser el alumno activo. No importa en qué estado se encuentre tu pieza, incluso si sólo tocas unos compases, o sólo una mano - lo que importa es que grabes una evaluación honesta de dónde estás con la pieza musical en este momento. El Maestro Mederos escuchará todas las grabaciones y elegirá a un alumno del grupo que haya aceptado ser alumno activo (no te preocupes, nadie será forzado a ocupar el "asiento caliente" .... El maestro Mederos me ha asegurado que una vez que veamos cómo apoya a sus alumnos, nadie se asustará).

• Los 2 afortunados que sean elegidos, basándose en su grabación de vídeo/audio y en su propia voluntad de ser alumnos activos, serán informados el viernes antes de la sesión (tiempo suficiente para prepararse, pero no para preocuparse :-)

• ¡Ten en cuenta que esta es una oportunidad única para tener contacto directo con uno de los más grandes maestros del Bandoneón, desde la comodidad de tu casa!

• Todas las sesiones de vídeo se grabarán y estarán disponibles.

We have the pleasure of offering a series of Online Workshops with one of the greatest living Masters of the Bandoneon! Toquemos Solo Bandoneón Level 3 consists of four 90 minute sessions. After a pause of a couple of months between each course, others will follow.

About this Workshop:    

Toquemos Solo Bandoneón will explore the topic of musical interpretation.
In this series of classes, we will address two aspects: the production of sound, and the phrasing of the language of tango.
Working with the masterful arrangements of Rodolfo Mederos, we will discover the true depth of tango music, through the beautiful sound of the Bandoneon.
A well-written score contains everything you need. It only lacks one small detail - musicality. Playing music is not just repeating what is on the page. The same score could be played in many different ways without changing any of the written elements.

Nothing can be changed if it is not understood, which is why it is important to develop two fundamental skills: awareness of sound and a critical sense. To produce a certain effect it is necessary to have its sound image (awareness of sound), that is, to have heard it and also to want to do it; then know how to produce it.
It will be through the virtuous circle (ear perceives, brain orders and fingers touch) that we will be able to compare, evaluate and act.

These workshops will lead us beyond merely reproducing what is written, they will teach us how to interpret it and to find our own expression.

Music is like a sculpture: it can be observed and felt from various sides; it enables a creation to generate the pleasure of listening to it a thousand times.

Music is not good because it has a lot, but because it needs little. It's not about knowing what to put in, but what to take out.

About my passion for education

I like to give back what others gave me, "living without debt." The contact I have had with the founding musicians of the genre is without a doubt a privilege. If perhaps I was a link in this chain, sharing these experiences completes me and makes me happy.

The future has its foundations in the past. We will immerse ourselves in the historical sound of tango, both to reproduce it faithfully and to generate new music from it.

How does this course work?

• The course is held on Zoom (online).

• We will work with two pieces (Niebla del Riachuelo and El Choclo) in arrangements by maestro Mederos.

• Signing up to the course will give you access to its material and videos of the sessions.

• In 4x90 minute sessions, we will study in depth two of Mederos' arrangements that have been especially created for these classes.

• Each of the 4 sessions is divided into two 40 minute slots, during which one student will be taught online while the others watch and/or participate with their sound muted.

• How is the active student chosen? 4 days before the start of the workshop, everybody uploads an audio or video of their progress with the chosen piece and specifies if they would rather watch and listen, OR be willing to be the active student. It doesn't matter what state your piece is at, even if you only play a few bars, or just one hand - what matters is that you record an honest assessment of where you are at with the piece of music at this point in time. Maestro Mederos will listen to all recordings and choose a student from the group that agreed to be active students (don't worry, no-one will be forced into the 'hotseat'.... Maestro Mederos has assured me that once we see how he supports his students, no-one will be frightened!).

• The lucky 2 students that are chosen, based on their video/audio recording and their own willingness to be active students, will be told on the Friday before the session (enough time to prepare, not enough time to get worried :-)

• Please not that this is a unique opportunity to have direct contact with one of the greatest masters and teachers of the Bandoneon, from the comfort of your home!

• All video sessions will be recorded and made available.
